About Us
Michael and Patricia, aka Red & Fred, are right-brained professionals with an artsy-fartsy passion for working with their hands. Mediums include wood, steel, clay, acrylic paint, glass, beeswax, exotic oils and goat milk.
Patricia "I’ve always been right-brained. One of my earliest creative memories is making mud pies and mud balls and laying them out in the sun to dry. Not too much has changed today - I’ve just substituted clay for mud and the sun for a kiln. " Michael ... BTW Red is no longer red. We're both gray bumps now! |
Who We Are |
Michael and Patricia Westervelt met in 1993 at guess where, a craft show in Lilburn, GA! Since then, they have built everything together (one peace was on display at the Smithsonian). Their common bond is working with their hands to create unique pieces to enrich family life.
Michael is an Engineer over facilities and operations for a metro Atlanta school system. Also certified as a Master Carpenter and heavy equipment operator. Patricia is a retired esthetician, aromatherapist, artist. |
